To that end, Thomas Heatherwick, a British designer plans to create a unique tourism destinations in Abu Dhabi. Locations that will be the hallmark feature of the city: the beautiful desert landscape.

"There is a mentality, see the desert as something that should be covered, rather than take advantage of its uniqueness," said Thomas, as reported by CNN page. He tried to think otherwise.
