U.S. Defense Department officials, Friday (28/02/2014) , stating that Russia has deployed several hundred troops into the territory of Crimea in Ukraine . This deployment is done after the Russian government in Kiev asking Russia withdraw its troops home from bases located in the Black Sea peninsula.
Statement from Pentagon officials who requires anonymity is the first confirmation of the Russian Government about the movement of Russian forces in the Crimea . "It looks like they 've moved a few hundred soldiers there (Crimea)," said the official.
Russia did not make notice to the Government of the United States to the military plan. However, Pentagon officials asked Washington to focus on using diplomatic means and so far there has been no serious consideration to deploying American military related Ukrainian crisis.
"Now is diplomacy," said the second officer at the Pentagon told AFP, which also requires anonymity. Both officials said they have not heard information requests military assistance from the Ukraine. So far , also not heard the news happening again clashes between the armed forces of Russia and Ukraine.
Pentagon spokesman Admiral John Kirby refused to comment on whether Obama would have called the Russian move in the Crimea as a military invasion "We are assessing the situation , and we do not prepare ourselves to be ready to apply it," Kirby tepis .

Witnesses also reported several armored vehicles rumbled in the streets of Simferopol and at least eight major cargo plane bearing the tricolor flag of Russia landed at a military airbase in the northern Ukrainian city on Friday evening.
