Los Angeles - British rock band Coldplay survive on the cusp of the weekly Billboard 200 album charts on Wednesday ( 4/6 ), ahead of Mariah Carey's new album.

Coldplay album be titled Ghost Stories # 1 album with sales of more than 83,000 in the past week, according to data compiled by Nielsen SoundScan.

Ghost Stories entrance to the peak with the highest weekly sales of the year, as many as 383,000 copies.

While country singer Brantley Gilbert perched at number two in the second week with sales of 65,000 copies album Just As I Am.

Pop diva Mariah Carey is just being in third place with a new album Me. I am... The Elusive Chanteuse Mariah sold 58,000 copies.

Billboard stated that Carey is selling album for the smallest non -holiday album since SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991.

Another new album entered the top 10 Billboard album charts this week include teen pop singer Mahone at number five with their debut record, The Secret EP, and musicians Crowder at number nine with Neon Steeple.

According to Billboard, for the week ending June 1, overall album sales reached 4.2 million units, down 13 percent from the same weekend in 2013.

On the Digital Songs stairs, Australian rapper, Iggy Azalea, remained perched at number one for a second week with sales of 289,000 downloads Fancy reach while his collaboration with American pop star, Ariana Grande, Problem, persist in second place selling 243,000 digital copies.
